My case was approved on Aug 19, 2010. I received my card on Aug 26, 2010.
Unfortunately, The EAD card had a wrong start date. I have sent my cards back for correction on Sept 2, 2010.
(I do have approval e-mail of my cards and the case.)
So, Question is, Can I work while my cards come back with the correct date. I don't have receipt of the replacement cards in my hand yet.
Please let me know.

I wanted hear another opinion apart from my own. It surely did help.Thank you.
I don't believe leaving the company that you had signed an I-9 form with have any impact on your GC app as long as you have a same or a similar job lined up if and when you do get an RFE regarding the same.
As mentioned several times, GC is for future employment and you can switch employers as many times as you want under AC21 (of course you don't want to go overboard with switching employers every few months either :)).
I hope this helps - again this is my understanding of the law and not a legal opinion.

Can you at least produce the extension receipt at the embassy? Is your job title IT Consultant? If the answers are no and yes, personally I would not risk it. Of course this is nothing more than a personal opinion. My H-1B expires in April. I waited for the past 3 months and got my extension approved so I'm going back to China this month.

Another great design, but the text seems a bit off with the design. For the most part, in a stamp, the text should be the consistent, dull part. In my view, it doesn't look nice when italicized or stylized excessively.

Yes. You will get all the tax rebates. I remember getting the rebate check after 2001.

Same thing happen in our case, transfers TSC to local office(FL) for speed processing then after 16 months we got interviews letter from local office to attend the interview.

I was in Canada and came back to US last weekend using AP. I only had two documents. They asked for three but I told them that I only have two and that is all I got from USCIS.
They made me wait for 15 minutes and then stamped both AP documents and gave it back to me with an I 94 and entry date/stamp.
I believe you should have your Advance Parole document and not with the immigration.

I applied for H1B as a Software Test Engineer and my LCA is applied with the same job description. Now i wish to work as Programmer Analyst in the same location specified in the LCA. will i need to amend my LCA or H1B or is it fine to continue with the same LCA. Compare the job duties (not just job titles) of the original and new job to determine if they are in the same Standard Occupational Classification (SOC). See, Find Occupations (http://online.onetcenter.org/find/). If the jobs are in the same SOC, they would both have the same prevailing wage and no material change has occurred. In that case, you may only need to get a new LCA. All LCAs take up to 7 business days to get certified by the DOL. My wife has similar situation, found some scars and further so many tests (sputums, broncoscopy) done and all were negative. And as a precautionary measure, she took 9 months INH medication.
Meeting with Civil surgeon to fill out the new I693 form again with all the details as requested by USCIS via a RFE. Back in 2007 the civil surgeon just marked as abnormal xray and patient under complaint and care. So, USICS asked for the follow-up details, medication taken and a clearance from civil surgeon stating that there is no active TB and no further evaluation required.
Will keep posted. Any others in similar situation?

I went to Infopass to enquire about my interfile status. The first level officer said since my PD is not current, she will not allow me to meet the IO. I argued that PD has nothing to do with knowing the status and allow me to meet the actual IO. she still did not. What a crap !!!

If appropiate can one of the administrators tell us how much of the funds collected thus far have been used (for whatever purposes). I am not asking where the money went :-), just basically how much is left in the Kitty now. If we are running low i am hoping we will see a spur of new donations..
